Bee Fields

This is bee hive chart finished and a very small start to the swarm! I hand dyed kona fingering and am very pleased with the result. It shows a little lighter than it actually is. I like this pattern but the rows are beginning to be VERY long :)

What a lovely start to your shawl. You did an amazing job dyeing that yarn!

Molly -

Congratulations on the addition of your daughter. I've adopted twice from China myself. The second trip was much more difficult to recover from . . . perhaps having Daughter #1 at home while getting to know Daughter #2, jet lag and getting back to "normal" life.

Your knitting is lovely. I don't have the patience yet for lace. Am struggling with a small scarf project for a friend from Shanghai.

Sock knitting is right up my alley, small & quick!
